Ozet
Johnny Carson'ın rakibi Jack Delroy, ülke çapındaki uykusuzluk çekenlerin uzun süredir güvendiği bir arkadaş olan 'Gece Baykuşları' adlı talk showa ev sahipliği yapmaktadır. Ancak programın reytingleri Jack'in karısının trajik ölümünden sonra düşer. Talihini tersine çevirmek için bir yol arayan Jack, 31 Ekim 1977'de eşi benzeri olmayan bir Cadılar Bayramı özel yayını planlar ama kötülüğü Amerika'nın oturma odalarına salmak üzere olduğundan habersizdir.
