Ozet
Yıl 1917, savaş dünyayı kasıp kavurmaktadır. Kentucky'nin taşrasından gelen yetenekli şarkıcı Lionel ile karizmatik kompozisyon öğrencisi David konservatuarda tanışır. Lionel ile David 1920'de, gelecek kuşaklara kalması amacıyla halk şarkılarını derlemek için birlikte çokça zaman geçirir; aralarında söylenmemiş çok şey kalır, Oliver Hermanus'un çoğu filminde olduğu gibi. This film didn't get the attention it deserved. It is a slow, slow burn, and patience is required. The payoff is explosive. What an incredible story, brought to life by actors who have such a gift and understanding of the power of subtlety and nuance.
