Ozet
Basit kaygıları olan saf İrlandalı genç Gerry Conlon, 70’li yıllarda Londra’ya gelir. Kendini hayatın akışına kaptıran delikanlı burada bir işgal evinde serbest bir hayat yaşayan gençlerle birlikte zaman geçirmeye başlar. Bir polis baskınında hiç ilgisi olmadığı 1974 Gyildford bombalamasından sorumlu tutularak tutuklanır. O dönemin İngiltere’sinde şimdikinden çok farklı olarak, terörle mücadele adına insan haklarının hiçe sayıldığı uygulamalar olmaktadır. Yoğun fiziksel ve manevi işkencelerin baskısı altındaki Gerry’nin ömrünün sonbaharındaki masum babası da, suç ortağı olarak hapse atılır. Kadın bir avukatın yıllar süren çabalarının da yardımıyla, Gerry maruz kaldığı adaletsizliğe direnmeye başlar.
