Ozet
1968 yılında henüz yirmi yaşında önce Chicago'nun, sonrasında ABD genelinin en bilinen politik siyah figürlerinden olan, sosyalist ideolojiyle siyahların hak mücadelesini bir potada eriterek daha iyi bir gelecek umuduyla ABD'de farklı etnik kökenden kesimleri bir araya getirmeyi başaran Fred Hampton, 60'lı yılların ABD'sinde sisteme sesini yükselten hemen her azınlık figür gibi FBI tarafından hedef alınmış ve 4 Aralık 1969 tarihinde suikasta uğramıştı. Hampton'ın yakın çevresine giren FBI muhbiri William O'Neal'ın verdiği istihbaratlar Hampton'ın suikastına temel oluşturdu.
