Ozet
Zorlu bir boşanma ve orta yaş krizinden geçen Georges, küçük bir kasabadan geçerken vitrinde gördüğü deri bir cekete vurulur. Ufak bir servet ödeyerek ceketi alan Georges kısa bir süre sonra diğer kıyafetlerinin ceketine uymadığını fark eder. Ceketine duyduğu sevgi hastalıklı bir saplantıya dönüşür. Georges sadece ceketi için yaşamaya başlamakla kalmaz, kendisi haricinde ceket giyen herkesi de ortadan kaldırmaya karar verir.
