Ozet
Will Sawyer, eski bir FBI Rehine Kurtarma Ekibi lideridir. Fakat artık gökdelenlerin güvenliğini değerlendirmektedir. Çin’deki görevi sırasında dünyanın en uzun ve en güvenli binası ateşler içinde kalınca tüm suç onun üzerine atılır. Bu olay üzerine artık aranan bir adam olan Will, yangının sorumlularını bularak adını temizlemeli ve binanın içinde sıkışıp kalmış olan ailesini ateş hattından kurtarmalıdır.
