Ozet
Connecticut'ın varlıklı banliyölerinden birinde pırıl pırıl güneşli bir yaz gününde orta yaşlı dinç görünüşlü bir adam olan Ned Merrill üzerinde mayosu olduğu halde dostlarından birinin bahçesinde ortaya çıkar. Her birinde yüzme havuzu olan köşklerin sıralandığı bir sayfiye vadisidir burası. Ned teker teker komşuları ve dostları olan bu insanların yüzme havuzlarına dalıp çıkarak kendi evine doğru bir yolculuk yapmaya karar verir.
