Ozet
Ghost Busters ekibinin New York şehrini kötü ruhların istilasından kurtarmasının üzerinden beş koca yıl geçmiştir. Ancak kafadarların hayalet avcılığı yapması yasaklanmış, her biri kendisine başka bir iş bulmak zorunda kalmıştır. Ray ve Winston çocuklar için hokkabazlık yaparken, Egon insan duygularının çevre üzerindeki etkilerini araştırmaktadır. Venkman yerel bir televizyonda uyduruk bir parapsikoloji programı yapmaktadır.Dana'ya gelince, Venkmanla birlikte olmuş, bir çocuk yapmış ve ondan ayrılmıştır. Genç kadın müzede üzerinde çalıştığı bir restorasyon işinde Karpatyalı Vigo'nun resmine denk gelir. Tablo büyülüdür ve Vigo hayata geri dönmek istemektedir. Hayalet Avcıları tekrar faaliyete geçmek için şehri ikna edebilecekler midir? Şehirdekilerin hayatı buna bağlıdır.
