Ozet
Mars'a gönderilen astronotlardan Mark Watney, şiddetli bir fırtına sonrası öldü sanılarak ekibi tarafından terk edilir. Ancak Watney hayattadır ve kendisini Mars'ta yapayalnız bulur. Elindeki sınırlı olanaklarla zekasını ve dayanıklılığını kullanarak dünyaya yaşadığına dair bir sinyal gönderir.
