Ozet
Uzak ve ıssız bir adaya ayak basan Carl Denham yönetimindeki bir film ekibi, yerlilerce düzenlenen garip bir kurban törenine şahit olur ve engellemek için müdahale eder. Sarışın başrol oyuncusu Ann Darrow'u gözlerine kestiren yerliler daha sonra kampı basıp genç kadını kaçırırlar. Ann'i zincire vurup, tanrı olarak tapındıkları Kong isimli dev bir gorile kurban etmeye kalkışırlar.Dev canavar kendisine ikram edilen Ann'a aşık olur ve durumdan vazife çıkaran Darrow ve ekibince etkisiz hale getirip, bir Broadway şovuna meze edilmek üzere gemiyle New York'a taşınır. Oysa aşk her şeyden güçlüdür!
