Ozet
Mısır tarihi uzmanı arkeolog Dr. Daniel Jackson, araştırmaları sırasında çok eski bir geçit bulur. Bu geçit, başka bir gezegene açılmaktadır. Albay O'Neil komutasındaki bir grup askerle birlikte geçitten diğer tarafa geçerler. Eski mısırı andıran bu gezegen, androjen yarı tanrı RA tarafından yönetilmektedir. Acımasız RA'nın eline düşen ekibin, kurtulmak için RA'yı altetmesi gerekecektir.
