Ozet
23. yüzyılda New York. Dünya yok olmanın eşiğindedir. Her 5000 yılda bir geri dönerek yaşamı yok etmeye çalışan şeytani güç, bir gezegen biçiminde hızla dünyaya yaklaşmaktadır. Tek kurtuluş beşinci güç olarak adlandırılan, kimsenin ne olduğunu bilmediği elementin dünyaya ulaşmasıdır.Bunu başaracak tek kişi eski bir asker olan taksi şoförü Korben Dallas'dır. Ancak onun ilgilenmesi gereken mükemmel güzellikte bir yaratık vardır.
