Ozet
İlk filmin sonunda yabancı bir gezegende değil, tarumar olmuş bir dünyanın geleceğinde olduklarını anlayan Taylor ve Nova, Yasak Bölge'deki seyahatlerini sürdürürken Brent adlı bir astronot, Taylor'ı aramaya gelir. At sırtında tek başına dolaşan Nova'ya rastladığında, konuşmayı bilmeyen genç kadından bir şekilde Taylor'ın Yasak Bölge'de kaybolduğunu öğrenir. Aslında Taylor, yeraltındaki tünellerde yaşayan bir grup insan tarafından esir tutulmaktadır. Kendilerince tuhaf bir din geliştirmiş ve telepatik güçleri de olan bu insanlar, maymunların Yasak Bölge'yi istila etmek üzere olduğuna inanmaktadırlar. Ellerinde herşeyi bitirecek çok güçlü bir silah vardır ama bütün bunlar gezegenin bu kez tamamen yokolmasına sebep olabilecek gibi durmaktadır.
