Ozet
Bilbo Baggins, korkunç ejderha Smaug'dan Cüce Krallığı'nı geri almak için çıkılan yolculuğa katılıyor. Aniden çıkagelen Gandalf tarafından bir grup Cüce'ye katılması istenir. Her çeşit yaratıkların bulunduğu yaban ellerde bu cüce grubu ile kendini bir maceranın ortasında bulur. Erebor'a vardıktan ve Smaug ile karşılaştıktan sonra Beş Ordu güçlerini birleştirerek, Orta Dünya'nın kaderini belirleyecek bir savaşa başlar.
